Dear Life,
We all came to Vida Asana either with the knowledge of trying to find/fix something in our life that is missing/broken or maybe simply trying to figure out life in general. Nevertheless, everyone happened to be placed in the same group at the same sanctuary, and at the same time. After 5 days, many excursions, conversations, and delicious meals that we shared, we experienced; acceptance, friendship, kindness, hope, and most importantly sincere love.
Life generally laughs at my attempts to control it anyway, so why not lean into the un-certainty and leave it up to chance
No judgment, no right or wrong, but with acceptance of who we are. Our “real” self; insecure, hurt, exhausted, Pisces, balance, curious, wondering, and other labels that might have no apt name to describe, why try anyway. We learn to respect each individual as themselves, and also learn to respect ourselves; strong, healthy, fragile, love, full, content, and many more. We are enough.

On the last day, Kayla – my yoga teacher gave me a beautiful gift; affirmation – “the real glow up is when you stop waiting to turn into some perfect version of yourself and consciously enjoy being who you are in the present”- I am divine .
I have to say that this experience has been enlightening and invigorating for me, to open my heart and not run away from fear but to learn to be still and accept life and oneself with a glad heart.
As I wrote this I hope this safe place stays as a sanctuary for everyone that is looking for themselves. And may they found themselves in this beautiful blessed place.
Let me end my letter by saying… I am thankful for life, for God as my strong rock, and for guiding me home. I am thankful for the Heal and Restore experience, for every single beautiful soul in my group and Vida Asana, for being part of me and enriching my soul, thank you for making me “RICH”. Until next time, let’s continue our journey with open heart and possibility.
Con Amor,
Diana
